The standard warning on method
The result carries the note that Global DRO attaches to many substances. An intravenous infusion or injection of more than 100 mL in a 12-hour period is a prohibited method, whatever the substance, outside hospital treatment, surgery or clinical investigation. Published trials of palmitoylethanolamide gave it by mouth or on the skin.
What this does not cover
- The product, not the molecule. A status check covers an ingredient. It does not cover what else a supplement contains. Contaminated supplements are a known cause of positive tests. Anti-doping bodies advise athletes to choose batch-tested products.
- Other sports and years. The WADA list is revised every year. Run your own search for your sport before you rely on this page.
